Let’s pretend that our legs wants to dance and our hearts are hungry for love and excitement

Let’s pretend that we did not drink too many beers yesterday. Let’s pretend that the radio DJs at Strand did play this song since I paid for it in support of their campaign against child labor and child abuse. Let’s pretend that the sun has not already set and I’ve only managed to eat breakfast and read the literary section of DN. Let’s pretend that we are filled with energy since it is Saturday and there is no work to be done for the first weekend in quite some time. Let’s pretend that our legs wants to dance and our hearts are hungry for love and excitement, that our shoes doesn’t mind the muddy snow or pale tired faces on the subway. Let’s pretend that these two song are not signs of escapism but reflections of our current state of mind. Yeah, let’s do it right now.
